We are certainly enjoying the warm weather and sunny skies as our busy summer wedding season approaches. While everyone loves a summer wedding in New England, we can't help but also get excited for our couples who are just beginning to plan their winter weddings. For those of you who prefer to bundle up rather than sweating it out in the sun, perhaps a snowy soiree is more up your alley! We still have a few dates available at Stonington Meadows and Mystic Seaport for this upcoming season, and would be delighted to host your winter wedding at either of these locations, or at a location of your choosing. Gay Marriage Legalized in Rhode Island

Last week, Governor Lincoln Chafee signed the bill legalizing same-sex marriage in Rhode Island, making RI the 10th state to legalize marriage between same-sex couples. Same-sex marriage has been legal in Connecticut since 2005, and we couldn't be prouder to have been a part of many gay and lesbian weddings in CT over the past several years. We are looking forward to meeting many more special couples, and making history in RI this upcoming season.

Caitlin & Pavli's Food Tasting

This time of year is full of exciting things for our Sales and Event Coordinators, our Culinary Team, and most importantly, our 2013 Brides-and-Grooms-to-be! While our coordinators are busy planning and preparing for our upcoming wedding season, our chefs are busy perfecting recipes, creating new menu items, and preparing yummy treats for tasting events.

This week, Caitlin and Pavli came in for their food tasting at Latitude 41 Restaurant in Mystic, and chose their final menu for their June wedding at the Narragansett Towers. Here are a few sneak peeks of their delicious menu selections:
