Good Morning Everyone! It's a gorgeous day in Stonington and we are very excited to have Spring just around the corner! I wanted to post about Event Budgeting as it is one of the most important parts of planning. So here we go...
When planning an event, it is important to ask yourself, how many guest will be attending. This will help you narrow down on venues you are looking at. After you decide your expected number of attendees you should get started on putting together the rest of your budget. Things that should definitely be included in your budget:
- Invitations (there are programs for DIY invites)
- Venue (Some venues are all-inclusive)
- Food & Beverage
Some other things that may or may not be included in your budget for your event are:
- Rentals & Linens
- Flower Centerpieces
- Transportion (Limo's and Shuttles for wedding, etc)
- Extras (guest favors, photo booths, candy bars, etc.)
Some additional items will/could be added to your budget depending on the event you are planning, so this is not a cut and dry budget.
